Excellent… always fresh from the pond!!!

Sometimes the hype is justified. When the grower has his restaurant on the pond where he farms, and the shuckers are presenting those oysters at their best, it really makes them shine. A dozen, outside, with a Hemmingway daiquiri or even a draft ‘gansett is one of the best oyster experiences in the Ocean State. The oysters are on the smaller side, and I find them sweet and delicate. I don’t think I have ever shucked them… I’ll have to fix that.

Always a beautiful, clean salt flavor. And always spectacular to eat them right there at the oyster bar.
