Yaquina

Old-school operation using raft culture in the upper reaches of Oregon’s fairly low-salinity Yaquina Bay (lots of freshwater influence from the Yaquina River). The spat adult oysters are attached to lines hanging from floating rafts. Thin shells in the smaller oysters, but some are allowed to get very large and plump.
